Wood grain effect aluminum profiles

Three types of wood grain heat transfer processing methods

Three types of wood grain heat transfer processing methods

Wood grain effect sublimation process:

Base materials→Wood grain paper or wood grain film cover aluminum profiles→Sublimation→Cleaning→Inspection→Packaging

I.Process one: Use heat transfer adhesive for sublimation, suitable for large or irregular shape base materials

The first:

Select the base materials that have been powder coated or electrophoresed.

The second:

Using heat transfer adhesive to stick the front side of the wood grain paper to the sublimation surface of base materials  (using manual brushing, manual operation wood grain paper, or using a universal wheel laminating machine for adhesive brushing and wood grain paper covering), the purpose of using the heat transfer glue is to make the wood grain heat transfer wood grain paper close to the transferred surface of the base materials to be sublimated.

The third:

The covered base materials will be sent to the oven for baking. The baking temperature and the length of time should be adjusted based on the characteristics of the base materials to be transferred, the texture depth to be transferred and the oven performance. In general, the wood grain heat transfer temperature is usually 160 to 180 ° C for 5 to 8 minutes.

The fourth:

Unloading the sublimation base materials from the oven, tearing off wood grain paper, and cleaning the surface.

II.Process two: suitable for large or irregular shape base materials

The first:

Select the base materials that have been powder coated or electrophoresed.

The second:

Cover the base materials that need to be sublimated with wood grain heat transfer paper, and fix the paper jointly with high temperature resistant adhesive tape to prevent the wood grain heat transfer paper from loosening.

The third:

Cover the tubular plastic bag with high-temperature resistance and good sealing on the base materials that have been covered by the wood grain transfer paper, and then vacuum both ends of the plastic bag until the plastic bag can fully Effectively adhere to the base materials.

The vacuum negative pressure should be adjusted according to the characteristics of the substrate to be transferred and the negative pressure that the plastic bag can withstand, usually between 0.3 and 0.8Mpa.

The fourth:

The covered base materials will be sent to the wood grain oven for baking. The baking temperature and the time should be adjusted based on the characteristics of the base materials to be transferred, the texture depth to be transferred and the oven performance. In general, the wood grain heat transfer temperature is usually 160 to 180 ° C for 5 to 8 minutes.

The fifth:

Unloading the sublimation base materials from the oven, pulling off the plastic bag from one end of the base materials to be transferred, tearing off the wood grain heat transfer paper, and cleaning the surface.

III. Process three: Suitable for flat base materials

The first:

Select the base materials that have been powder coated or electrophoresed.

The second:

The front side of the wood grain transfer paper is placed on the front side of the base materials to be sublimated.

The third:

The flat base materials will be covered by silicon membrane and pressurized and heated in the oven, and the temperature of the heat transfer is usually 160 to 180 ° C, and the time is 18 to 25 seconds.

The fourth:

Remove the wood grain heat transfer paper.
