Aluminum profile aging process

The aging process for aluminum extrusions

Aluminum profile frame loading requirements:

1. General curtain wall aluminum profiles, common door and window aluminum profiles, and industrial aluminum profiles must be placed in the same frame;

2. Thermal break curtain wall aluminum profiles, thermal break door and window profiles must be loaded in the same frame;

3. Thermal break aluminum profile and general aluminum profile mixed loading in the same frame is forbidden;

4. Aluminum profile must be loaded fully below 5mm the frame surface in each frame, and each row of profiles should be separated by a spacer strip to ensure that each profile has a hot air circulation;

5. The solid mold aluminum profiles thickness≥4mm are not allowed to overlap;

6. Small aluminum profile thickness ≥2mm must have 80 mm of air passage between each frame.

Aluminum profile aging process:

1. Common curtain wall aluminum profiles, common door and window aluminum profiles, and industrial aluminum profiles must be in the same aging furnace.

The furnace temperature is controlled within 195 °C ± 5 °C, after the temperature is reached, keep it for 3 hours, then cool by a fan blowing for 20 minutes. The quality inspector checks the hardness;

2. Thermal break curtain wall aluminum profiles, thermal break door and window aluminum profiles must be aging in the same aging furnace.

The furnace temperature is controlled within the range of 180 °C ± 3 °C. After reaching the temperature, the furnace is kept for 3 hours, cooling by fan blowing for 20 minutes. The inspector checks the hardness;

3. If the aging thermal break aluminum profiles are not full, the 1-2 frame common aluminum profiles (with thickness less than 2.0mm) can be placed in the same furnace, and the aging process is carried out according to the thermal break aluminum profile process;

4. When the aluminum profile is charged to the aging furnace, aluminum profile ends and the air guiding port are controlled within 80-100 mm.

5. When the temperature in the furnace reaches the required temperature of the process, the aging operator measures the actual temperature in the furnace with a glass tube thermometer every 30 minutes and makes the original record.
